Atrium Gallery Marbella presents from May 29th one of the most sought after artists of the contemporary European art scene. His bronze sculptures of a One Dollar note reach almost two meters high and he has been very much expected in the Costa del Sol. French artist Karl Lagasse exhibits a compilation of his acclaimed artistic works inspired by the American culture.

Lagasse is exclusevely represented in Spain by Atrium. According to Corinne Lewin, owner of the gallery located in the prestigious Golden Mile, the contact with Lagasse started one year ago, when they have been setting agreements to facilitate the arrival of the artist and his works to Marbella. ¨The most interesting thing about Lagasse is that he is a very open minded artist. During his stay in Marbella he will also be available to create unique pieces for our customers. Since our job is to integrate the artist into the local scene, I think this could also be a transformative experience for him. He is a very impressive artist and we are very happy to have him here¨, said Lewin.

From May 29th on, the art lovers of the Costa del Sol will have the opportunity to not only get to know his famous works in bronze, but also Lagasse´s paintings and video creations. The work was recently presented at the Salon of Art Wynwood, Miami, and during an exibition in Paris, this March 30th, Karl received the French President Francois Hollande.

Painter, sculptor, photographer and video artist, Karl is a self-taught, multidisciplinary artist. Born in Paris, he has experienced a cultural childhood amongst his parents creations, both artists. His first piece was created at the age of 7 and his first work was sold when he was only 15.
